Photoonists is a photographic exhibition of the UK’s greatest living cartoonists. We all know and love their work. They are responsible for commenting on the events that affect our lives: be it politics, religion, society or simply everday life. They highlight the problems within society, which we so often overlook, with a rye and satirical eye. And they hit the spot every time. They are simply phenomenal. But who are these cartoonists and what do they look like? Photoonists is a photographic exhibition of the UK’s greatest living cartoonists. The portraits will be highly original, delivering unique and creative perspectives from the photographer Sean Ebsworth Barnes. Each photograph will be accompanied by a sample of the cartoonist’s work, creating a link between portrait and artist.
